We can foster social impact through creating short and long term positive changes in the lives of disadvantaged young people through providing access to highly qualified, culturally competent coaches, and an evidence based “mind body” curriculum to develop skills and habits proven to increase health, educational and professional outcomes.

We use basketball to provide a holistic method of education that addresses mind, body and heart. All of our programming incorporates an emphasis on developing Social Emotional Learning skills, leadership skills, mindfulness abilities,  lifelong healthy habits, and basketball skills. Many of our curriculum modules also include Social Justice education through highlighting the intersection between basketball and social justice. In a given session students may learn the crossover dribble, the story of Mahmoud Abdul Rauf’s protest of the national anthem, a yoga pose and diaphragmatic breathing techniques.
